Today marked six years since Esther Musila’s mother passed away.
Musila shared her heartfelt tribute to the late mom saying her only wish was for her mother to meet Guardian Anger whom she termed as ‘the most wonderful man in her life now’.
In a lengthy message on her Instagram, she says her mom would be so proud of her and happy to see her embrace marriage again.
“Mum, I honestly wish you had lived a little longer to meet the most wonderful man in my life now. I know you’d be so happy to see me in this new space and I bet you me, we would have been singing your favourite hymns together,” she wrote.
Musila described her late mom as an anchor in her life and a strong woman adding that she truly misses her.
“Six years ago, a morning just like this one, I received a call that my dearest mum had passed away in her sleep. This was less than 12 hrs after my brother Fred and I had been to shags for the weekend. It was the darkest day in our lives. I still don’t know how we found the strength to drive to Machakos, it actually felt like a dream and we would snap out of it. I truly believe to this day that the Almighty worked it out in his own way and wanted us to spend the last hours of mum’s life with her.
“Mum, thank you for being my anchor in life. You taught me to appreciate every single day of my LIFE and live like there is no tomorrow. I was raised by a strong woman and I know you always got my back mum. Rest in Power my dearest mum. I treasure the LIFE we shared together. We miss you and love you forever Mummy ❤❤❤,” she added.
Musila,52, and Guardian,33, tied the knot in January this year in a private wedding ceremony in Nairobi.
The couple was engaged in May 2021 during Musila’s 51st birthday.
