School bus swept away by floods in Baringo

A school bus belonging to Kabarnet SDA was on Friday, April 30 swept away by flash floods at Kakapul river, Baringo county.

The bus was reportedly ferrying trainers from Cheptebo heading to Kolowa in Tiaty constituency.

Reports indicate that the bus was initially stuck in mud forcing the passengers to alight and walk home.

Consequently, the bus was abandoned there and swept away by floods following heavy rains at night.

There were no causalities reported.
