City lawyer and politician Karen Nyamu is crying foul over an unnamed con whom she claims is thriving off her name on social media.
Karen is now calling upon netizens to help her counter the con and hopefully get verified especially on Facebook.
“What I’m I doing wrong every time I have applied to have my account verified the request is declined. Any verification consultants out there? for Facebook especially. There’s a conman thriving with my name,” she wrote.
Notably, Karen Nyamu has stepped down from the Nairobi senatorial race ahead of the August 9 polls.
Having dropped out of the senatorial race, Nyamu recently uploaded a post with a caption saying;
“Pesa yangu ya campaign wacha nikule yote hapa.”
(Let me squander my campaign money here)
Ms Nyamu who was eying UDA party ticket stepped down for Bishop Margaret Wanjiru who dropped out of Nairobi’s gubernatorial race in favour of Johnson Sakaja.
