Singer Naiboi has announced that he has finally been released from his contract with the Universal Music label.

The 2-in-1 hit singer says it was a frustrating three years as he was not allowed to release new music while still sitting on the contract.

Fans can relate to his relief over being “dropped” as he has been pushing to part ways after the label turned cold which translated to a three-year hiatus.

Taking to social media he wrote;

“Finally Free to Release Music / Been a Tough 3-year situation 😤. But Hey why Complain when I can Finally killem widit. My YouTube channel is Naiboi worldwide do subscribe if you have Not. If you have Stay alert it’s Go Time,” he wrote online.

Naiboi first opened up about his struggles to release music last year in October when he also threatened to sue the record label.

He asked fans to pray for him saying his hands had been tied for almost two years which deterred him from giving his fans more music.

“All I ever wanted is to release music for my fans. And I know my fans are worried wondering what’s up with A Naiboi!! My Hands have been tied for almost 2years now. And I am tired of being at mercy of these people,” he stated.
