Business lady Sarah Kabu is framing herself to the public as a ‘betrayed’ woman before an increasingly inevitable divorce from her husband Bonfire Adventures CEO Simon Kabu.

Speaking during an interview with Christina Lewis on a show dubbed The Voice Of East, Sarah came out as a vulnerable victim in her own marriage of 10 years saying she “wished she had a humble life with love and peace of mind.”

She has admitted that her marriage was not close to perfect and she is tired of faking it.

“I don’t want any drama. I did not pick him(Simon) up from one of his houses. I found him a miserable young man and we have built ourselves.

“We have been discussing that we need to separate since I have not been comfortable with this marriage and I am tired of faking so we were in discussion. I wanted a peaceful separation and co-parenting and so on,” she said.

“I reached a point where I said enough is enough since some people looked up to me, they were inspired by our online story but I wished I had a humble life with love and peace of mind. I went through so much in my marriage and finally decided that I will live my real life,” she said.

“People were getting too inspired by our story and I was like am only showing the good part of my life and you are not seeing the bad part. People look at us as soft people and we have become a soft target for bad people. That is why sometimes, I do some controversial things so people can also see we have challenges,” she added.

Simon Kabu’s babymamas

Sarah noted that the baby mama drama is one of the reasons she is likely to separate from Simon.

Speaking of her husband’s past, Sarah revealed that Simon has two other baby mamas with whom there have been wrangles over property and resources. The drama began when they publicly gifted their children property.

“They have been very aggressive and this is becoming stressful for me,” she said.

“When we were getting married and he told me about the daughter and the mother, I told him I hope they will not start interfering with our marriage. He had another relationship and he got a daughter, he had another relationship with someone else and they had a son,” she noted.

Sarah narrated;

“We have lived as he supported them although one of the baby mama is very dramatic and sometimes she even insults him. They wanted to bring one of the babies by force. I stood my ground from the word go. If we part ways, I also expect him to support my children. I told him I did not want drama.

She claims she hopes to die before him to evade the drama that might come with the inheritance of property.

“I even told him we need to separate and maybe meet during your funeral, I pray to God I die before him so that I don’t face the drama.”

Simon is however yet to share his side of what has been happening in their seemingly troubled marriage.
