Former Lang’ata MP aspirant Stanley Livondo has been summoned to appear before the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters on Kiambu Road over his utterances at the Moses Kuria homecoming rally on Saturday in Thika.

Livondo was summoned by Head of Serious Crime Unit Kuria Obadiah.

“Failure to comply with the requisition constitutes an offence liable to prosecution,” Obadiah warned in the DCI letter.

The flamboyant politician had claimed that an unnamed government official tried, in two separate instances, to crash aircraft that President Uhuru Kenyatta was aboard.

The alleged that in the first instance, the President was flying from Kisumu to Nairobi while in the second attempt on his life he was headed to the United States through Dubai.

“If your friend who is so close to you like a brother attempts to crash a plane that you are on board more than twice, will you forgive him?

“In the first instance, President Uhuru was flying from Kisumu to Nairobi while on the second attempt he was headed to the United States through Dubai.

“The plane was forced to divert to Kenya because of the botched attempt to crash his plane,” he said.

The outspoken politician further beseeched Mt Kenya locals to unite ahead of the August 9 polls insisting that residents of the vote-rich region must coalesce around a party domiciled in the region lest they miss being part of the next administration.
