Comedian Eric Omondi has shared contradicting information about his personal life.

Speaking in an interview in Tanzania, the comedian claimed that he is not a father yet and is still single as he approaches 40 years old.

“I am turning 40. Sina mtu, sina mtoto. Nilijaribu kutafuta mke pale ‘Wife Material’, imeshindikana. Wanawake warembo wa Arusha, nikiwachekesha, msinisahau,” Eric explained.

Loosely translated as; (I don’t have a child and I’m still single regardless of my several attempts to secure a wife through my show. Please ladies if you find me funny don’t forget about me)

Further, he expressed disappointment over his failed relationship with ex-lover Chanty Grazioli.

According to Omondi, all his efforts went down the drain and left him broken.

“Bado niliachwa hata baada ya kumweka mpenzi wangu kwenye billboard nyingi sana. Kutoka siku hiyo, ninaogopa mapenzi sana. Ilikuwa uchungu sana. Nilifanya kila kitu, nikanunua gari. Nikikumbuka hiyo story ya bango, inaniuma sana. Ilinikosti pesa nyingi sana,” he ranted.

(We still broke up regardless of my continuous efforts. I put her on a billboard, bought cars worth lots of money and every time I recall about it, it really hurts)
