Police in Kakamega County have arrested three suspected terrorists who were found taking pictures of a judge’s residence, regional coordinators administration offices, and State Lodge.

The three were identified as Juliet Nyadzua Subira , 24, Fatma Abdulhakim Zubedi , 29, and Evans Oluoch Owiti, 36.

According to a police report seen by K24 Digital, the three were intercepted by police officers manning the area.

“They were challenged by the officers but they alleged that they were taking the photographs for fun.

“They were arrested on suspicion of being involved in terrorism activities and escorted to Kakamega Police Station,” the police report read in part.

Their phones and motor vehicle registration number KCQ 900N were kept as exhibits.

Two weeks ago, the government warned Kenyans to remain vigilant because there were reports that terrorists were targetting popular buildings around the country.
