Upcoming rapper Sylvia Saru alias Ssaru has denied being romantically involved with Gengetone star Trio Mio.

Ssaru who was speaking during an interview with a local media station says Trio is too young and he is still a student.

“Let Trio Mio be. He is still young. Mwacheni asome(Let him study),” she said.

Rumours that the young artistes were in a relationship started after they dropped a new track ‘Kichwa tu’ featuring Timmy T Dat.

In a previous Q n A with her fans on Instagram, she still rubbished the claims and insisted that Trio is like a brother to her.

“Let me ask, are you dating Trio Mio?” a fan asked to which she replied: “Seen so many of you asking this, Trio Mio is my brother and it will always remain like this.”

Last year in June, the fast-rising rapper confirmed that he was in a relationship with an anonymous girl that his mother approves.

The 16-year-old said his girlfriend is younger, further heaping praises on her.

Ni mdogo wangu (she is younger than me). She makes me happy, she is a vibe. She is beautiful,” Trio said.

The rapper’s mother, Irma Sakwa confirmed the relationship noting that she has personally met the girlfriend in question, further lauding her son for introducing his lover to her instead of keeping the relationship a secret.

“I was happy at least he has brought a girl and I have met her. It’s good. It is better than keeping the relationship a secret,” the rapper’s mother said.
