Days after operations at the Kerugoya county hospital resumed after a two-month workers’ strike, the facility is once again in the news for the wrong reasons.
This time around, a woman is claiming that her child was stolen in Kerugoya hospital after delivery.
The woman’s family members led by her husband Laurence Muriithi claimed that his wife was expecting twins following a scan and doctors’ report but they were shocked to learn that only one child was given to the mother after delivery.
The angry family members said that it was clear from the word go his wife was expecting twins.
Addressing the press, Muriithi insisted his wife gave birth to twins and demanded answers from hospital management.
Efforts to get a comment from the hospital management were futile as the Administrator declined to address the press.
