Machakos County Governor Alfred Mutua on Wednesday, August 25 said that he has been receiving a lot of weird messages from women who want a relationship with him, days after his ex-wife Lilian Ng’ang’a announced that they had separated.
Appearing on a local TV station, Mutua said that after the lady made the announcement, his Facebook inbox was awash with messages from the ladies who want him.
According to Mutua, who is serving his second term, some women have been sending him revealing images and speaking out on how much they loved him.
“I have received very many DMs from women; some are very funny…you know. People have even sent me some bodyparts and such things,” Mutua hilariously revealed.
He, however, maintained that he was enjoying a cordial relationship with his ex-wife.
The duo, two weeks ago made it clear that they had opted to part ways after years of marriage.
He said that despite them having already decided to part ways, Ng’ang’a even went ahead and attended his birthday party on Sunday, August 22.
The party was also attended by Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga who was all smiles at the event.
Asked about his next political move, Mutua said that he was contemplating whether to run for the presidency in 2022.
Mutua said that he believed he was the best suited to replace President Uhuru Kenyatta whose term will end in August 2022.
“My track record is good from what I have done in the county of Machakos. I am the best suited for the job hoping that I will be the next president of Kenya,” he said.
