Just after his baby mama went on Instagram stories and put him on full blast, days later, she went on the same app this time alleging that Samidoh assaulted her.

The video immediately went viral and Karen Nyamu had the internet eating out the palm of her hand for most of the day yesterday.

While people shared mixed reactions, many on social media began to suspect that it was really an unfortunate ‘facade’ since it comes at a time when the Mugithi singer is shooting an upcoming music video.

Despite Karen having shown the ‘punches’ on her face and a broken phone, the video threw netizens on a heated tizzy debate with some still thinking that it was all a ploy to get ‘clout’

Samidoh is however yet to respond to the allegations on his social media handles and attempts by K24 Digital to reach him on phone were futile since he was unreachable.

Kenyan artists have seemingly mastered the ‘art’ of ‘clout chasing’ with a recent good example being Willy Paul and Size 8.

The two faked a beef in a bitter social media back and forth which also involved Size 8′ husband DJ Mo.

A few days later it turns out the three successfully duped their fans and released a new song thereafter.

Success is how you define it and clearly, in this line of work, it entails putting in the effort to maintain relevance.

In this entertainment industry, associates thrive over the controversy and are down to do whatever it takes for clout chasing.

This is mainly to trigger engagement metrics before releasing a new project and more likely reusing it to inflate these engagements afterwards.
