Kenya Power announces blackout in parts of Nairobi

Kenya Power has announced a series of maintenance of its systems in Nairobi on Friday, August 5.

In a Thursday, August 5 statement to members of the public, the power provider listed areas in Nairobi that will experience power blackout tomorrow.

“The listed areas will be affected by planned power interruptions tomorrow. The interruption is part of network maintenance,” Kenya Power said.

Parts of Highrise from USIU, City Mortuary, Parts of KNH, KMTC, Mbagathi Hospital, War Memorial Hospital and Umash Funeral Home.

Kenya Power also listed Highrise Estate, Riara University, Magiwa Estate, Peace Junior School, Shadrack Kimalel School, Sunshine School and adjacent customers as areas that will be affected by the power maintenance.
