‘Baikoko’- song by Mbosso ft Diamond surpasses 20 million views

In a span of three months, ‘Baikoko’- a song by Tanzania’s Mbosso featuring Diamond Platinumz has garnered over 20 million views on Youtube.

The song released by the Wasafi duo in April 2021 was Diamond’s first song to drop this year.

Excited about the news, some fans reacted by bringing about the allegations against Harmonize where artists claimed he bought fake Youtube views for his songs.

One user left a comment saying;

“Sinilisema, ngoja tuone ‘Attitude’ itafikisha 20 million kwa muda gani “

(Let us see how long it will take for ‘Attitude’-song by Harmonize to reach 20 million views)

‘Attitude’ was released in late April featuring Congolese Awilo Longomba & H baba.

The song which now has slightly over 12.6 million views got social media in shambles after amassing over 3.3 million views within just one day.

Harmonize song Sandakalawe released on June 25, jumped from 400K views to almost 1.5 million views within hours to surpass top singers’ songs like Diamond and Zuchu.

More claims were issued by Nigerian singer and songwriter Naira Marley who chipped in to advise his friend.

“Stop buying YouTube Views…We can tell by the likes. I’m not even talking about anybody from Nigeria Oooh. I’m sure nobody in Nigeria will ever” Naira Marley wrote.
