Tik Tok sensation and radio presenter Azziad Nasenya shared her journey to stardom revealing that she always wanted to be on TV.

“I have always been bubbly since I was a kid. I have always entertained my family members and I always liked dancing,” the dancer revealed. 

In a TV show hosted by comedian Daniel Ndambuki on Sunday, June 6, Azziad said it took her passion and God’s timing to get to her current status.

“When I was a kid I always wanted to be on TV. You confess, you possess. So maybe God aliona haka kadem kame try sana akaona ani bless,” the actress said.

The 20-year-old came to the limelight in 2020 when her video in an online challenge went viral propping her to immediate stardom.

“I never wanted to go viral. In fact, I was verified on Tik Tok even before I did that video. It was all God’s timing,” the dancer said.

An alumnus of St Cecilia Girls High School in Misikhu the actress credited her teachers stating that they motivated her to pursue her passion and talent in the arts.

“I was an active member of music club in high school. As much as I knew I was talented, it was my teachers who pushed me on. Kulikuwa na wali walimu walisema misiende drama, mtaanguka. It was good to have teachers who would inspire and encourage,” Azziad said.

Early this month, Azziad landed her first job as radio presenter at Sound City Kenya which was launched in Kenya in May.

On facing bullies, Churchill noted that before his team begun recording, the show producer uploaded Azziad’s photo on the comedian’s status while they were rehearsing and immediately Church received positive and negative feedback about the dancer.

“I feel there are a lot of people who are team Azziad and some that are not what I know is that I have done my fair share of working hard. I have worked hard Churchill,’ Azziad replied.
