Jeff Njoroge, the Kameme TV presenter who was involved in a grisly road accident yesterday night is safe.

The presenter who is reported to have hit another personal vehicle before the two hit a ditch along OJ-Thika superhighway road was observed at a private hospital in Ruiru before he was referred to Kenyatta University, Teaching and Referral Hospital for further medical checkups.

At the national government’s run hospital, Njoroge who is popularly known for his Kigwa Kuhihwo Murio show underwent head, legs and chest scans.

Speaking to K24 Digital, the veteran journalist said the results are good adding that no one in the accident was in danger.

While thanking God for safety, Njoroge said that only the two vehicles were severely damaged.

“We are still here at the hospital but the results I have received so far have shown that am okay. I thank God for the safety,” he said.

Moses Ngige, an eyewitness who was at the scene when the incident happened earlier said he heard a loud bang only to find out that one of the vehicles had been hit from behind.

“We hurriedly rushed and removed them from the wreckages before well-wishers offered to take them to the nearest hospital,” said Ngige.
