Kiambu County Assembly’s member for Muguga Ward, Eliud Ngige Ngugi, has died.

Kiambu County Speaker, Stephen Ndichu, announced MCA Ngugi’s death on Monday morning, March 16.

“It’s with a heavy heart and shock that I have learnt of the passing on of Muguga Ward MCA, Hon. Eliud Ngugi, Ngige (Thika),” said Speaker Ndichu.

The Speaker eulogized Ngugi as a leader who represented the people of Muguga Ward with dedication and unwavering commitment.

“Ngugi was a passionate leader and debater who was not afraid to speak his mind on matters of public concern,” said Ndichu.

Ngugi died at the Kenyatta University Referral Hospital on Monday, March 15.
