Police in the United States are in pursuit of a man who fled the country after he recorded himself sexually assaulting a disabled woman in a video he published for the public to watch.

Already, a warrant of arrest has been issued for Brian Njeri whose whereabouts remain unknown.

Police on Tuesday, February 23, said that the suspect, who schooled at Leicester High School in Massachusetts, was a caregiver at an autism home known as ARCHway.

He graduated from Leicester High School in 2014.

Court documents revealed that police were tipped off the incident in November 2020 and they quickly launched investigations into the matter.

A witness whose identity is yet to be revealed to the public said that she opened the suspect’s phone and found several videos that captured the suspect engaging in the act with a female patient in one of the offices at the home.

Wendy Murphy, who is the victims lawyer, termed the incident as unfortunate, saying that she would put the authority into task to explain how the suspect left the US.

“This is as vulnerable as it gets. Someone who is not only disabled in terms of their intellectual disabilities but also disabled because they can’t communicate. Under no circumstances should this guy have been allowed to leave the country. It’s beyond my comprehension to even understand how this happened. He can do this again and again and again to similarly defenseless people,” the victim’s attorney said.

According to the lawyer the video was enough evidence to press charges against the suspect.

Police suspect that Njeri might have learnt that things were headed south when his employer issued him with a letter terminating his contract.

He then escaped on November 27, 2020 never to be seen again up to date.

In 2013, the suspect was also accused of touching a minor inappropriately and the matter was reported to the police.
