A woman, her child and boyfriend were murdered at Jogoo Road Government Quarters, buildings that are opposite Shell Petrol Station and St. Stephens ACK Church.

According to the police, the woman was working at the Registrar of Persons office in Mathare, Nairobi County.

Police said that there were signs that a serious struggle ensued in the house before the three were killed.

The bodies of the woman and her child were found in the bedroom and had started decomposing.

Police suspect that the family was killed on Saturday, February 20, with neighbours reporting not seeing them leave their house on Sunday.

The man’s body, which had not started decomposing, was found in the bathroom with hand and legs tied.
