Woman whose lover died during sex detained for 14 days

Police have been allowed to detain a woman whose lover died on while they were engaging in coitus at his house in Dandora, Nairobi.

The prosecution team requested a court in Makadara to allow the police detain the woman, Joyce Wairimu, for 14 days pending completion of investigations.

The woman, who is being investigated for suspected murder, will be held at Kayole Police Station.

According to the police report, the man fainted and died instantly while on the act. After police ransacked the house, they found assorted drugs and medical reports.

Josephat Wafula, the detective who is following up on the matter, told the court that they are also waiting for the suspect’s medical report and autopsy of the deceased.
