Police officers in Makueni County have arrested seven Ethiopians for being in the country illegally.

The illegal aliens were heading to the Coast when they were intercepted on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway on Tuesday night, November 10.

Makueni County Police Commander Joseph Ole Napeiyan said the aliens were caught at a roadblock in Mtito Andei while travelling in a Toyota Voxy without identification documents.

Following the arrest, the seven were booked into custody at the Mtito Andei Police Station awaiting arraignment and charging for being in the country illegally.
