The dramatic divorce case between Meru Senator Mithila Linturi and his estranged wife Marianne Kitany is set to resume after the court ordered parties to appear before the duty magistrate on October 15, to pick new dates.

Two magistrates had disqualified themselves from hearing the divorce case between Senator Linturi and his spouse Kitany.

Senior Principal Magistrate D.W. Mburu, who was allocated the file after MNgistrate Peter Gesora was transferred to Kisumu, said he could not handle the matterĀ over personal reasons.

He referred the case back to Chief Magistrate L.L.Gicheha.

G.A.Mmasi will now handle the matter to its conclusion after parties were directed to pick fresh dates before the duty court.
