The Inspector-General (IG) of Police Hillary Mutyambai has ordered MPs Ndindi Nyoro and Alice Wahome arrested immediately over the deadly chaos that rocked Kenol town on Sunday morning.

IG Mutyambai accused the two MPs of mobilising goons who caused mayhem at Kenol town.

The police boss also ordered investigators to track down vehicles that were hired to ferry goons to the town ahead of Deputy President William Ruto’s visit to a church in the Murang’a town for a fundraiser.

Earlier, Mutyambai said that he has instructed the Director of Internal Affairs and two senior Directorate of Criminal Investigation officers to carry out investigations into the matter and bring the perpetrators to book.

The deadly chaos ensued between two opposing groups at Kenol where two people lost their lives, IG Mutyambai said.
