Six remandees escape from Kayole Police Station

Police officers in Kayole, Nairobi have launched a manhunt for six suspects who escaped from custody on the wees of Monday morning.

The six, among them a robbery with violence and defilement suspect, escaped by cutting their way through the roof.

A reliable source revealed that the suspects cut a wire mesh to gain access to the roof

Kayole OCPD Isaac Thuranira declined to comment on the case, only saying he will issue a comprehensive report later in the week.

Police sources said that two of the suspects were caught on Monday.
