Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has dismissed his alleged ouster by Ford-Kenya’s National Executive Council.
Speaking to Milele FM, Wetangula said the officials’ meeting was illegal.
He claimed that the officials were detained illegally at a hotel near the Aboretum in Nairobi and participated in the unlawful meeting.
As a result, Wetangula said that the officials who orchestrated his purported removal will be punished.
Wetangula said that the party’s Secretary-General Eseli Simiyu has been suspended and replaced by Chris Wamalwa.
“This party is a bastion of democracy…we had already set a date for the NEC and anybody who wants to run for any seat should fill their papers and wait for the date for the elections at the Bomas of Kenya,” said Wetangula.
