Football legend Joe Kadenge passed on Sunday morning while undergoing treatment at Meridian hospital in Nairobi.
His son, Oscar Kadence, confirmed the sad news of the passing on of the 84-year-old legend, who has been battling Diabetes for a long time.
Revered for his trickery and goal-scoring heroics, Kadenge enjoyed cult-like status in Kenya during his stints with both Harambee Stars and AFC Leopards between the 1950s and 70s.
Different leaders have sent their condolence messages to the family, eulogizing him as one of the greatest talents ever.
