Kasmuel shares chopper with Raila as they traverse Homa Bay and Migori counties
Revolutionary artiste Kasmuel McOure has on Thursday, February 27, 2025, accompanied his party leader Raila Odinga on a helicopter tour across Homa Bay and Migori counties.
Taking to his X account, Kasmuel expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to accompany Raila and engage in grassroots mobilization ahead of ODM’s 20th-anniversary celebrations in Busia.
He shared several social media updates throughout the day, documenting his experiences alongside the former Prime Minister.
“It was a privilege to accompany H.E. Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga to yet another multisectoral consultative citizen assembly in Homa Bay, ahead of ODM’s 20th anniversary in Busia tomorrow,” Kasmuel stated.
During the Homa Bay leg of the tour, Kasmuel also had a chance to interact with Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga and Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma, two leaders he credited for shaping his journey in the party.
“Moments like these remind me why grassroots organization and mobilization remain the heartbeat of The ODM Party. I’m grateful for the front-row seat to political mastery and for the transformative opportunities afforded by the ODM Youth League,” he said.
The entourage later flew to Migori County, where Raila addressed residents on national issues. Kasmuel shared his excitement at sharing a platform with the veteran politician.
“What an honour, to share a podium and learn politics from the real pundit, the enigma himself, H.E. The Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga. Thank you baba for the invaluable lessons and opportunities. Thank you Migori County,” he wrote.
In another update, Kasmuel revealed that he had spent the morning in discussions with Raila about youth issues and the party’s position on governance before they embarked on the helicopter journey to Migori.
“His clarity, purpose, and passion for Kenya never cease to amaze me. ODM remains Kenya’s largest, best-organized, and most progressive pro-people party,” he wrote.
In a statement, Raila Odinga thanked Migori residents for the welcome he received during the visit.
“Migori County has welcomed me today as I continue my consultations in the region. Thank you for the reception, Gov Ochilo Ayacko,” Raila wrote on his X account on February 27, 2025.
