In a dramatic shift from her usual unfiltered social media presence, socialite and entrepreneur Huddah Monroe has declared she will no longer engage in public feuds – even with longtime rival Vera Sidika.

Taking to social media on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, Huddah made it clear that she is prioritizing peace, personal growth, and her business over online drama.

“You gotta go through God to get to me this year,” she wrote in one post on Instagram, signalling a newfound commitment to ignoring negativity.

She doubled down on her stance, making it clear that online insults would not elicit a response from her in 2025.

Hii mwaka hata ukinitusi, I’ll be mute. Ujinga sitaki. It’s levels to this sht!” she wrote, using Swahili to emphasize her unwillingness to engage in petty fights.

Huddah, known for her glamorous lifestyle and outspoken nature, emphasized that she is becoming less accessible – not just in the virtual world, but in real life as well.

“Plus, I don’t host clubs. You can’t find me anywhere unless I alert you! So the only place you can find me is online, na huku pia I’m not exchanging energy this year with any low lives,” she declared.

The message appeared to take a jab at those attempting to provoke her for public attention, categorizing them as beneath her stature.

“Anybody who mentions me badly online is a LOW LIFE! A BOTTOM FEEDER trying to siphon my RICH energy! Hii rich energy HAMPATI NGO!” she added.

Business first

Instead of engaging in social media spats, Huddah insists her focus will be on business, particularly her beauty brand, Rich Beauty.

Hii mwaka mtakoma! My RICH ENERGY is reserved for my clients only @RICH BEAUTY,” she wrote, signalling a shift from personal engagements to professional priorities.

She concluded with a parting shot to those seeking to provoke her:

Hii mwaka tunajibu clients pekee. If you don’t support my business, you are not my business. Everyone should stick to their lane.”

Huddah-Vera feud

Huddah Monroe’s decision to disengage from online feuds comes amid an ongoing and highly publicized rivalry with fellow socialite Vera Sidika.

While she did not mention Vera by name, the timing of her statements has fueled speculation she was responding to her frenemy who threw shade at her.

Taking to her official Instagram on January 23, 2025, Vera took a swipe at Huddah over her remarks about reality TV shows.

Vera questioned why Huddah claimed to hate reality shows yet she was featured in one of the highly watched African reality TV series a decade ago.

The mother of two went on to say that it is wrong for the socialite to judge people watching reality shows urging her to keep off peoples’ business and let them watch what gives them pleasure.

“How someone claims to hate reality shows so much, yet was in one 10 years ago is diabolical Oh & being Evicted 5 days later is nasty work.

“Judging people for watching reality shows ain’t crazy much??? Yet u been in one before and it backfired??? make it make sense. Better yet just be quiet & mind your business,” Vera posted.

In addition, the bootyful socialite advised Huddah to watch Discovery Channels if she wants educative programs, adding that she is not in the position to judge reality TV series lovers.

“If you have been in a whole reality show you should not be the one to judge people for watching it. Just Drink water and mind your business. Especially when it backfired on you

“FYI;(for your information) if you wanna watch educative stuff pls go to the Discovery channel, and let trash TV lovers enjoy. Everyone wants a good laugh after a stressful day at work. school. It’s Purely for entertainment Watu wa church waende kwa pastor Ng’anga,” she added.
