Co-operative Bank of Kenya has donated Sh100 million to the national government’s Covid-19 fund.

The bank said that the contribution is expected to support the sourcing of critical life-saving medical supplies and equipment, especially ventilators.

On Sunday, the government’s coronavirus fund received over Sh320 million from the Danish government.

But the Danish government’s donation will be chanelled through the World Bank, said Denmark’s Minister for Development Cooperation Rasmus Prehn when he announced the 22 million Danish Kroner.
