Rachel Ruto’s message

On her part, Mama Rachel hailed the education sector, stating that the country’s future lies in the classroom.

She assured the nation that the government will ensure Kenyan children are food secure to ensure a seamless learning process.

She also encouraged Kenyans to spend the Christmas festivities to plant more organic foods by setting up kitchen gardens to ensure they are food secure.

“Kenya’s future is in the classroom, having been a teacher, I understand how difficult it is to teach a hungry child. Our mission is to ensure hunger doesn’t get in the way of our children’s education. A plate of food is power in a child’s hands,” Mama Rachel said.
