Anerlisa Muigai shares milestone in her sobriety journey

Businesswoman and social media influencer Anerlisa Muigai has revealed her goal of being a teetotaler months after quitting alcohol.

Taking to her instastories, the Keroche heiress stated that it’s been eight months since she quit drinking alcohol adding that currently she is loving her sobriety journey.

“Eight months of not taking alcohol, my goal is to be alcohol-free forever. Self-loving my journey,” she said.

On July 5, 2024, took to her Instagram account to announce that she had made a significant life change by giving her life to Jesus Christ.

While sharing her transformative experience, Keroche Breweries heiress uploaded a video of herself in a car, accompanied by a caption expressing how peaceful and fulfilled she has ever since surrendering her life to Jesus.

Anerlisa, who is married to businessman Joe Kariuki went on to say that they have quit consumption of alcoholic drinks to focus on God and their marital lives.

“I’m so glad to have given my life to Christ. My life is so much at peace. The people I have chosen in my life are everything I ever wanted. God is the only way. You come first,” she shared.

 “There are some things that cannot lack in the house. Ribena. Not a fan but my hubs loves them a bit too much. We quit alcoholic drinks to focus on both our lives and on God. For me, I realized I loved water and herbal teas. Going on the 7th month of no alcohol together with my love,” she said On October 15, 2024, about being a teetotaler.

In addition, the businesswoman stated ever since she made the bold decision, she has been heavy on water and herbal tea which helps her sleep.

“My favourite teas. I love the taste of vanilla and strawberry tea, chamomile is good for sleep…” she added.
