Singer Brown Mauzo has advised his female fans not to settle for indefinite dating.
In a message shared on his Instagram stories on Monday, December 16, 2024, Mauzo encouraged women to be upfront with their partners about their intentions and ask for marriage.
“Look your boyfriend in the face and tell him, ‘I’m tired of dating. Wife me up or get out of my future husband’s way,’” he wrote.
Mauzo’s love life
Mauzo’s newfound wisdom comes after his publicized split with socialite Vera Sidika. The singer, who has since moved on, is now planning to marry his current partner, Kabinga. In August, Mauzo hinted at his intentions, saying he was ready to take the leap and settle down with her.
“This angel is giving me vibes to marry again. I confirm a big ceremony soon,” Mauzo shared at the time.
Since Vera Sidika stepped away, Mauzo and Kabinga have been lighting up the internet, serving major couple goals.
The couple recently celebrated their first anniversary, with Mauzo taking to Instagram on July 8, 2024, to mark the occasion.
In a post, he showered Kabinga with love and admiration, sharing words that could soften even the hardest of hearts.
“Happy anniversary, my love @kabinga_jr. In you, I’ve found not just a best friend but also a confidant and my biggest cheerleader. Feeling blessed and super excited for our journey ahead. Here’s to many more, my angel!” Mauzo wrote.
In May 2024, Vera revealed that there was zero chance of rekindling romance with her ex-husband saying that the boat had sunk.
In a Q&A session on her Instagram page, a curious fan probed into the idea of the two past lovers rekindling their romance and getting back together.
“Have you ever thought of maybe just maybe you and Mauzo would fix things, get back together respectively?” the fan posed.
Vera said she would never be interested in reconciling with the Mauzo.
