Tanzanian songstress Zuchu has expressed her affection for her partner Diamond Platnumz’s children, stating that she loves them as if they were her own.
Speaking to Tanzanian media, Zuchu shared her thoughts on motherhood, highlighting that it goes beyond biological ties.
“Kwa jambo la watoto, mimi watoto ninao, watoto wa Nasibu ni wangu. Kwa hivyo mimi tayari ni mama. Kuzaa sio njia pekee ya kukufanya huwe mama. Unaweza kuwa mama kwa kulea, kuwa aunty wa watoto wa dadako. Mimi nimebarikiwa kuwa mama kutokona na watoto wa mpenzi wangu,” she said.
Diamond Platnumz children
Diamond Platnumz is a father to six children, although the exact number has occasionally been subject to speculation.
His well-known children include two with Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan; Prince Nilan and Latifah Dangote, one with Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobetto named Dylan Abdul Naseeb, and another with Kenyan artiste Tanasha Donna named Naseeb Junior.
During a past episode of the Netflix reality show Young, Famous & African, Diamond hinted that he might have even more children.
“I have four kids. Maybe five or maybe six,” he remarked.
“A couple of months back, my mum told me she met this lady. I know this lady, and she said she has my kid, but then, she doesn’t want to tell me because she is married, and her husband thinks the kid is his. My child is 10 years old.”
The singer has also spoken openly about challenges in meeting some of his children. During a 2022 interview on Wasafi FM, he revealed that he has two daughters he has struggled to connect with due to strained relationships with their mothers.
“I have a daughter who I just started seeing the other day. It’s been approximately four years since I last saw her,” he said.
“The first one is in Mwanza, but her mother hid her from me. As for the second, her mother is in a serious relationship, and we’re trying to find the perfect time for me to meet her.”
“My mother has seen them and said they are mine. My mother does not lie.”
Diamond admitted that he has trouble being alone and can sometimes end up having entanglements that result in complications like having children out there.
“Sometimes I can have one-night stands that complicate everything,” he admitted.
Zuchu and Diamond Platnumz have had a highly publicized, on-and-off relationship occasioned by breakups and dramas.
