Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu on Saturday, November 9, 2024, shared photos of her birthday vacation in South Africa.

The senator who had her birthday on Thursday, November 7, 2024, in South Africa flew into the country where she has been touring various places.

During her trip to South Africa, the nominated senator posted a video while holding hands with a mysterious man at the airport.

After arriving in South Africa, Nyamu shared images of her celebrating her birthday vacation at a location with a breathtaking landscape.

“First time in SA (South Africa). I was excited about this trip like it’s my first. It’s my birthday yooo. I’m feeling so grateful for life. Thank you God for a lot,” Nyamu posted.

Robben Island prison

Nyamu visited the Robben Island prison where antiapartheid crusader and late South Africa’s president Nelson Mandela was incarcerated for 18 of the 27 years he served behind bars.

The prison, which is close to 7 kilometres off the coast of South Africa has since been turned into a cultural heritage site after it was closed in 1996.

Baby daddy

The mother of three who is also a lawyer snubbed the birthday of his former lover and Mugithi star Samidoh on November 1, 2024. In 2023, Nyamu bought Samidoh a bottle of Louis XIII which is a cognac by Remy at approximately Ksh420,000.

Samidoh, during his birthday, celebrated two women in his life, including his late mother Miriam and a foster mother he identified as ‘Senator Betty.’

“To the woman that bore me, Miriam, every day I see your prayers come to fruition, thank you for giving me life and nurturing my talent at a tender age. Daddy, thank you from the bottom of my heart,” Samidoh said, “Wherever you are, wherever I will go you will remain my source of inspiration. I am because you were.”

Adding: “My foster mama Senator Betty M. Mum you are my compass always giving me direction when I veer off, live long.”
