Activist Kasmuel McOure has laid out his political ambitions.

Speaking during a podcast session with Dialogues with Jagero, Kasmuel asserted that his long-term plan is to vie for a political seat in the 2027 elections.

He emphasized that his ambition is to take political power regardless of whether he has a following or not.

“I am very clear I want to take political power so no Kenyan is going to push me, that is why I am out here saying at this point I don’t care whether I have one follower, two followers, so long as I have it clear in my mind I want to take political power,” he stated.

When asked to elaborate his sentiments McOure stated that he was prepared to join elective politics by strategically organizing to get himself a ticket for positions in the next general election.

He, however, refused to state the particular position he would be vying for but insisted that he would be a member of government.

“I want to get an elective position by organizing and ensuring I get myself on a political ballot that is in 2027 and now getting to an election as a member of government…I think it is too early cause I am still looking at the data to see what my strengths could because you might have this whole dream then you realise you have the disadvantage of time, resources, those kinds of things,” Kasmuel added.

The latest comes days after a section of Kenyans across various social media platforms blasted the activist accusing him of being a sell-out for not defending Morara Kebaso during an attack at the Bomas of Kenya on Friday, October 4, 2024.

Furious social media users pointed fingers at the revolutionist saying he refused to condemn the attack against Morara because someone in government had bought him.

McOure while responding to the claims recently slammed those accusing him and dismissed the allegations.

“If I ever sell my integrity, I’ll be the first to make it known. If you have proof of the little I’ve received, table it. I say this because you don’t support me for who I am, but because it’s inconvenient for who you’re against, therefore convenient for you,” the activist s aid.

He also responded to online users who had threatened to de-platform him saying; “Why would anyone threaten me with de-platforming? The real challenge is deplatforming me from your mothers’ hearts because they see beyond the nonsense and sensationalism you’re trying to advance.”
