PSC announces 40 job vacancies in ICT Ministry

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced job vacancies in the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Digital Economy.

A notice published by the PSC on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, notified members of the public who are qualified and interested to submit their applications by October 8, 2024, at 5:00 pm.

The commission went ahead to indicate that the applications are made online through the commission’s official website or job portal.

Details of the jobs can also be found on PSC’s website.

“Interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications online through the Commission website: www.publicservice.go.ke or jobs portal: www.psckjobs.go.ke to reach the Commission on or before October 8, 2024 (Latest 5 pm East African Time),” the commission announced.

The ministry is seeking to recruit at least 40 Information Communication Technology Officers.

PSC on govt services

On September 12, 2024, the PSC held a consultative meeting with the Directors of Human Resource Management (HRM) from Ministries and State Departments (MDAs) to Identify actionable steps that will enhance government service delivery.

Speaking during the meeting which was held at the Kenya School of Government (KSG) Nairobi campus, the PSC Chairperson Anthony Muchiri disclosed that the meeting aimed to identify opportunities to streamline processes to better support both the PSC’s strategic objectives and MDA operational needs.

He further underscored the crucial role played by PSC in upholding the standards of integrity, transparency, and efficiency within our public sector.
