David Kimoi, son of KANU Party leader Gideon Moi has tied the knot in a vibrant traditional wedding ceremony.
This comes just months after his elder brother Kigen’s elegant white wedding in Rome, Italy.
In a statement shared on his X account on Saturday, September 14, 2024, Gideon Moi expressed his joy in celebrating his son Kimoi’s decision to formalize his marriage to Ivy Chebet.
Moi conveyed his pride as a father, noting how significant this step is for his son. He wished the newlyweds abundant blessings, hoping that their marriage would be filled with grace, mutual understanding, and happiness as they began their life together.
“As a father, I am proud of my son Kimoi for taking a bold step to formalize his union with the love of his life, Ivy Chebet. May God’s blessings cover their union as husband and wife. We wish them nothing but grace, understanding, and happiness as they embark on this journey.”
The bride looked stunning in a jungle green kitenge dress, wearing her natural hair, which was complemented by a beaded necklace that matched her hair accessory. She draped a shuka over her shoulders, identical to the ones worn by Kimoi’s father and the other men.
