Embakasi East MP Peter Salasya is not backing down from pursuing Huddah Monroe even as critics like blogger Andrew Kibe question his odds with the socialite.
Andrew Kibe recently threw shade at Salasya, suggesting that men from the village should stay away from glamorous city women.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, September 8, 2024, Salasya declared that even men from humble, rural beginnings have a shot at landing beautiful city women.
“Ati sisi vijana wa kijiji tukikuwa successful tuachane na wasichana wa town. Ati we can’t manage them. I want to tell Kibe that ata sisi tunaweza pata wasichana wa mjini. Sio wewe tu unaweza faulu kupata wasichana warembo,” he fired at the blogger.
Salasya didn’t stop there. He threw in a dig at Kibe noting that it’s the village guys who are winning nowadays.
He said that gone are the days when village boys were intimidated by high-maintenance city women.
“You are honest, but sasa niko mbele yako ,sisi vienyeji ndio tuko ,wewe ni broiler na broiler lazima apatane na kienyeji ndio mambo yakuwe poa …days are gone when we could look at ourselves and fear this expensive women haha…kaende kaende,” Salasya said in another post.
Kibe had earlier poked fun at Salasya’s chances, claiming that city women are not for the faint-hearted.
“Dust is constant, especially to the guys who have struggled from nothing to something, wasee wa ocha. They suffer the wrath of city women. City women are not to be toyed with. They can only be handled by a serious, serious, serious Nairobi man,” Kibe stated.
This won’t be the first time Salasya faces criticism since he set his eyes on Huddah Monroe.
Content creator Cassypool openly doubted Salasya’s chances with Huddah, pointing out that she only deserves a wealthy man who can pamper her due to her expensive lifestyle.
He said that Huddah is beyond Salasya’s league.
“Huddah ni msichana expensive, na Salasya bado hajafika iyo league. Atapata depression,” he said.
Expensive taste
On Friday, August 30, 2024, Huddah Monroe laid out some strict conditions for Mumias East MP Peter Salasya, her enthusiastic admirer, before their upcoming romantic meeting.
Sharing the details on her Instagram stories, the beauty queen emphasized that she prefers to keep her private life discreet, so she doesn’t want to be greeted by traditional Luhya dancers when she arrives.
Huddah also made it clear that any meeting must take place at a five-star hotel, specifically in a presidential suite adorned with orange roses, her favourite flower.
Moreover, Salasya would need to pay Ksh3,870,000 as a greeting fee; otherwise, Huddah warned she would remain silent throughout the entire meetup.
“I don’t want any isukuti dancing at the airport. I’m private. I only hold meetings at JW Marriott, presidential suite… filled with orange roses. And don’t forget the $30,000 for greetings, or I won’t speak at all,” she wrote.
“Someone let the Gen Z guy know to make sure the organizers wish him all the best,” she added.
