‘I will become the richest person in the world’ – Diamond

Tanzanian musician Naseeb Abdul Juma popularly known as Diamond Platinum has shared his long term ambitious goals with his fans. 

Addressing his fans during the launch of the Wasafi Festival 2024, the singer who is known for being the first sub-Saharan African artiste to accumulate 1 billion YouTube views, asserted that his biggest dream in life is to become the richest person in the world. 

The ‘Naanzaje’ hitmaker expressed optimism that he will give his best to ensure that he achieves his dream. 

Ndoto yangu kubwa katika maisha ni kuwa tajiri namba moja duniani. Hiyo ndoto yangu. Na nakudhibitishia kwamba nitakua tajiri namba moja duniani ((My biggest dream in life is to be the number one richest person in the world. That’s my dream. And I assure you, I will achieve it),” he said. 

The musician also took a trip down memory lane on how he once dreamt of acquiring a Rolls Royce and ended up getting it. 

Diamond assured his fans that all dreams are possible and he will achieve the status of the richest man in the world in the same way he achieved his other dreams. 

Katika Wasafi festival, kuna shule moja niliwaambia, ‘nitanunua siku moja Rolls Royce’, na iko imekaa pale inagarara maji sijui yapigwa jua, kwa sababu kwangu mimi naamini kila kitu kinawezekana. Nawadhibitishia kwamba mimi nitakua Mtanzania mwenye anawakilisha taifa kua tajiri namba moja duniani. (At the Wasafi Festival, I once told a school that I would one day buy a Rolls Royce, and now there it is, parked and under the sun. I believe anything is possible. I assure you, I will represent Tanzania as the number one richest person in the world,” the singer added. 

The position for the richest man is currently being held by X founder and Tesla CEO Elon Musk. 

Musk who holds the position with a net worth of $230 billion, he is followed by LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault who has a net worth of $200 billion. 

Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos is third richest with a net worth of $160 billion.
