Westlands Constituency Member of Parliament (MP) Tim Wanyonyi has met Bradley Marongo, the wonder man who hit headlines during the widespread Gen Z-led anti-government protests.

The lawmaker on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, took to his official X account to ask Kenyans for ideas on a project that can help empower Marongo.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) MP said he had hosted Marongo at his office in his bid to empower young people with the opportunities and the support they may need to build their future.

“I hosted Bradley Marongo aka “Gen Z Goliath”, who hails from Kangemi in Westlands constituency. We are empowering our young people with the opportunities and support they need to build their future. Mnaona tupatie Bradley Mradi Gani?” Wanyonyi stated.

Marongo who hails from Kangemi which is under Tim Wanyonyi’s jurisdiction, revealed in August 2024 how he travelled from Majengo in Vihiga county to Nairobi, where he currently enjoys new-found fame.

“My friend Mose, who works with one of the buses plying the Nairobi-Western region routes one day told me that he was an upcoming artiste shooting some of his music videos but was yet to make it into the mainstream music scene, asked to come with me to Nairobi,” Marongo revealed in an interview with a local TV station on Friday, August 16, 2024.

Asked how he fit in a bus which is designed for individuals with average height, Marongo revealed that he sat on the floor mat along the aisle towards the driver’s side.

Nilikaa na yeye (Mose) hapo mbele kwa mkeka. (I sat on the mat on the bus floor),” he narrated.

Marongo’s rate card

Recently, Marongo who is also known as Bradley Mtall revealed his rate card.

This is after he bagged a lucrative deal with a motor vehicle dealer in Mombasa over his popularity.

In an Instagram post shared, the 27-year-old who stands at 8 feet 2 inches, disclosed the detailed rate card that would see him earn decent income from his popularity.

In the rate card, Bradley indicated that he would be charging Ksh50,000 for every Instagram reel and TikTok.

He also announced that he will be charging Ksh20,000 per hour for every live TikTok session, while event appearances will cost Ksh100,000 per day.
