The Government Spokesman, Colonel (Rtd) Cyrus Oguna, on Sunday said they have launched a probe to ascertain how a patient’s confidential information leaked to the public at the MP Shah Hospital.
The patient, who has since died, was suspected to have had the deadly coronavirus.
Oguna said the patient’s information was leaked out and shared on social media but warned that the culprit will be found.
“@MOH_Kenya [Ministry of Health] will continue to respond to any alerts as they are reported through the various establish channels and through designated officers, who at the moment are myself, the Cabinet Secretary for Health or their appointed agents,” tweeted Oguna on Sunday.
