PSC announces 142 job vacancies

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced vacancies over 100 job vacancies in various ministries and state departments.

In a notice shared via their official social media pages on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, PSC disclosed that there are 42 positions at the Internal Security and National Administration department, which includes positions at the Assistant County Commissioner’s office.

In the Correctional Services -Kenya Prisons Service, there are seven vacancies, including the position for Deputy Director, Social Welfare/Cousenelling Services and six positions for Assistant Director, Social Welfare.

PSC also announced one position for the director, resource mobilization at the National Treasury.

Under the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development, there are 21 posts across various positions.

Within the Department of Public Service, there are 48 positions up for grabs in various sectors.

At Parliament Affairs, there are eight vacancies for the position of coordination and strategic officer while the Irrigation department has two job vacancies.

In the transport department, PSC announced four vacancies whereas the Youth Affairs and Creative Economy has one vacancy.

Interested candidates have been urged to apply online through the commission’s website www.publicservice.go.ke or their jobs portal www.psckjobs.go.ke.

Applicants have been encouraged to apply on or before September 10, 2024.
