Gospel singer Nicah’s heartwarming message to daughter as she turns 14

Kenyan gospel singer Nicah the Queen is celebrating her eldest daughter  Faith’s 14th birthday.

Taking to her Instagram, the mother of two penned a heartwarming message to her daughter noting that she is grateful for having her.

Nicah thanked her daughter for giving her the title and teaching her to be a mom.

“2010 on a day like today I was at some hospital in Eldoret ready to pop out my daughter Faith as you all were voting in the constitution! Happy fourteenth birthday Faith! Thank you for being an awesome daughter, thank you for teaching me to be a mom, and thank you for giving me the title of a mom,” Nicah wrote.

While celebrating her, the gospel singer declared blessings over her firstborn child.

“As the first fruit of my womb, you are for signs and wonders! You are growing up to become a spiritual giant in the world, nations will come to your light and kings to the brightness of your rising! The Lord has made all grace abound towards you my child. Baby keep shining for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. I love you especially and so dearly! My IG fam please help me wish my daughter Faith a congratulatory Happy Birthday,” she said.

Nicah and Dr. Ofweneke

Faith is the firstborn child of Nicah and comedian Dr Ofweneke, however, the two are currently separated and have been engaging in online altercations.

On Wednesday, July 11, 2024, the gospel singer while reacting after her ex-husband introduced his wife live on TV commented about their failed marriage.

Taking to her official Instagram page, Nicah stated that several netizens painted her black after the separation adding that it’s ironic how Ofweneke is now in his third marriage.

Nicah further asked what went wrong with his ex’s second marriage stating that they were a power couple.

Mimi hii dunia mtanionesha mambo!! you guys said I’m the problem! Sasa Naona ex husband ako kwa ndoa ya tatu hebu nipeeni udaku. Shida ya huyo wa pili ilikuwa gani na alikuwa love of his lifeeeeh Ofwenekee!” she wrote.

On his part, the comedian, who seems to have been responding to his ex-wife in a series of Instagram posts stated that he has patterns to unlearn and wounds to heal adding that remembering love adding that even though finding himself will take some time, he is patient to wait.

“There is nothing wrong with me. I have patterns to unlearn, behaviours to embody and wounds to heal, but there is nothing wrong with the core of me and who I am. I am unlearning harm and remembering love,” he wrote.

In 2023, Ofweneke in an interview stated that their separation was amicable adding that he loved his ex-wife so much to the point that he forgot himself.

He further disclosed their separation came after he rediscovered himself.

“I loved Nicah so much that I forgot myself, but the day I rediscovered myself is the day I told her mama, it’s been a good stretch. We were holding hands watching Netflix. We were in the house, the kids were there, my brother and sister too,” Ofweneke revealed.
