Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan is celebrating her eldest son, Pinto Tlale’s 21st birthday.
Taking to her Instagram, the mother of five penned a hearty message to her son noting that she has no regrets looking back 21 years later.
The South African-based socialite advised young women about the men they might be involved with, noting that these men might be encouraging several women to terminate pregnancies.
She warned that such choices could affect their future ability to have children when they are ready to settle down.
Instead, Zari advised them to either use protection or choose to keep the baby.
“Girls, that man you’re busy aborting babies for has 5 other girls doing the same,” Zari wrote candidly. “In the future, you’ll want to settle down and have kids, and it won’t be possible. Condomise or give birth to your child… Here we are 21 years later,” Zari stated.
Expressing her love for Pinto, Zari expressed her deep appreciation for their journey together.
“They always say the 1st born is that one person who has been through it all with you, I agree. Alhamdulillah, I’m grateful.”
Zari Hassan’s family
Zari has five children. Pinto, her eldest son, was born from her marriage to the late Ivan Semwanga. Pinto often accompanies his mother to various events and is active on social media. George Semwanga, also known as Didy, is Zari’s second son with Ivan.

Zari has two children with Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz. Their daughter, Latifah Dangote, also known as Tiffah, has become a child celebrity in her own right, often featured in media and social media posts by both her parents. Their son, Prince Nillan Dangote, enjoys significant media attention and is frequently showcased on social media.
Zari was married to Ivan Semwanga, a wealthy Ugandan businessman and philanthropist. The couple had three children together before they separated. Ivan passed away in May 2017, leaving a lasting legacy and wealth for their children. After her relationship with Ivan, Zari was involved with Tanzanian Bongo Flava star Diamond Platnumz. The couple had two children, Latifah and Nillan before their relationship ended in 2018.
Despite the separation, they have maintained a co-parenting relationship for the sake of their children.
