‘All good things are possible’ – Proud dad Boni Khalwale cheers daughter’s degree achievements

Kakamega County Senator Boni Khalwale is beyond ecstatic after his daughter Linda Lichuma scored an Upper Second Class Honours degree in Engineering.

In a statement shared on his social media account on Monday, August 5, 2024, Khalwale extended his gratitude to the university for its role in his daughter’s education.

“I wish to bestow my very special thanks to The University of Nairobi for educating, training, examining, and qualifying my daughter, Linda Lichuma Khalwale, over the last 5 years. With God, all good things are possible!” Khalwale stated.

In January 2024, Khalwale celebrated his other daughter’s outstanding performance in the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).

Sharing the news on X shortly after then Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu released the results, the lawmaker expressed his pride as his daughter achieved a mean grade of B+ (plus) in the national exams.

The senator expressed his gratitude towards his family and his daughter’s former school for their support. He also shared a screenshot of her examination results.

“Congratulations, Gift Atubukha Khalwale! I extend my heartfelt thanks to my family, the entire St. Brigid’s High School-Kiminini community, and, above all, God for supporting my little Tubu to reach this significant milestone,” he shared then.

Khalwale is known for being open and sharing the achievements of his children on social media. He has frequently posted about their performances, celebrating their successes with his followers.

Dad to 17 kids

In February 2024, during a press conference, Senator Khalwale addressed the public’s persistent curiosity about the number of children he has fathered.

He revealed that he has four wives and 17 children.

He detailed the specifics of his family, starting with his first wife, Adelaide Khalwale, who passed away five years ago and is the mother of his first three children.

His second wife, Josephine Khalwale, has three children with him, including one who has graduated from university and two currently attending. He confidently stated that there had been no doubts about their paternity.

Gloria Khalwale, his third wife, is the mother of eight of his children, some of whom are in university while others are still in lower levels of education. He noted that their paternity has never been questioned.

Finally, his fourth wife, Diana Khalwale, has three children with him, all of whom are at lower levels of education. Senator Khalwale confirmed that there has been no dispute regarding their paternity.

“The wives I have are specific and are as follows: Wife number one is Adelaide Khawlwale, who died 5 years ago. She is the mother of my first three children – all copyrights of mine, no doubt about their paternity. Josephine Khalwale, my second wife, is the mother of three of my children – one who has completed university, and two still at the university. All copyrights, there have been no complaints about their paternity,” he explained.

Adding;

“Three, Gloria Khalwale, who is the mother of eight of my children. These 8, some are at the university and others at the lower levels of education. They are all my copyrights. They have never had their paternity challenged. And finally, Diana Khalwale, mother of three, all of them in lower levels of education. The three children are my copyright.”
