The netizen, @PeterKariukiKe while outlining her qualifications, stated that Karua is highly qualified for the position.

Karuiki further added that the Kenya Kwanza government needs her advice and that she should fill the position immediately.

Narc exit from Azimio

On July 25, 2024, Narc Kenya announced its formal exit from the Azimio coalition moments after President William Ruto nominated four key members of the coalition affiliate party Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) to join his new cabinet.

The party’s Acting Secretary General Asha Bashir in an official letter informed the Azimio Secretariat Secretary General Junet Mohamed of the party’s decision.

“Kindly take note that our stay in Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition is not tenable due to the prevailing political developments. As NARC Kenya, by way of this letter, we are giving notice to exit the Coalition as stipulated in the exit clause(s) in the Coalition Agreement. This notice is effective from the date of this letter,” the letter read.

Confirming the exit, Narc’s party leader said that their stay in the coalition had come to an end.

“Our stay in Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance is no longer tenable,” Karua said.
