YouTuber Mungai Eve has revealed that she got into another relationship after breaking up with Director Trevor.
Eve accidentally spoke about her other relationship while answering questions during an interview with the YouTube channel Fagilia TV.
She was asked if she hadn’t gotten over Trevor following her decision to wear a crop top with a message taunting her ex, reading “My ex is my biggest fan”.
Explaining her decision, Eve noted that the message wasn’t even directed to Trevor since he is not her most recent ex-boyfriend.
“Unfortunately I feel like it was misinterpreted, I feel like in public you guys don’t even know my recent ex. So musijijazie sana,” Mungai Eve said.
The vicenarian additionally refused to clarify her relationship status when asked if she is currently dating.
“I feel like it’s a personal question, I wouldn’t say yes or no but what I usually say is when that time comes when I feel like I am ready to share about my love life I am gonna share with you guys,” she said.
Adding that; “I have experienced love on social media and why not experience it privately? Anyway kama ako nitawaambia tu when that time comes.”
Asked what type of man she was looking for, Mungai Eve humorously stated that she was too beautiful to be looking for a man.
“Sitafuti, mi mrembo hivi nakaa kutafuta?”
Past relationships
Speaking on her failed relationships, Eve stressed that she holds no grudges against her former lovers.
“I am not that kind of person to go around talking about my previous relationships, if they ended that marks the end of it we move forward, we talk about things that gonna happen not things that happened before.
“So I am not that kind of person who gonna stand here and talk about my past relationship, we had a good time back then and that is it.
“I don’t have any bad blood with whoever I dated before, I wish them all the very best,” she said.
Trevor explains breakup
Director Trevor was thought to have dumped Mungai following his announcement that he had fired her.
On February 19, 2024, Trevor announced that he had sacked Eve Mungai and took full control of their shared social media accounts.
He also said Eve would not be getting her usual cut from the income generated by their once co-shared channels.
Trevor unveiled the channel’s new identity, rebranding to ‘Kenya Online Media (KOM)’, on February 20, 2024.
However, during an interview on the Iko Nini podcast in March 2024, Trevor dismissed claims that he dumped Mungai Eve, revealing that they sat down and decided to part ways amicably.
He disclosed that he and Eve parted ways in 2023, long before the breakup became public knowledge.
He also mentioned that even their parents were aware of their separation.
“We didn’t break up yesterday. Our parents knew. We sat down with Eve’s parents and told them we weren’t together anymore but we were still working together. It was okay, and we agreed on how we would run the business,” Trevor explained.
