Activist Boniface Mwangi is set to host two concerts in Naivasha and Nakuru to honour Kenyans who lost their lives during the anti-government protests.
Taking to his official X account on the night of Saturday, July 20, 2024, the activist revealed that the concerts dubbed Shujaaz Memorial Concert will be happening in Naivasha on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
According to the posters shared by Boniface Mwangi, the Naivasha concert will be hosted at Municipal Park in Naivasha town, with free entry to all Kenyans.
The Naivasha concert will kick off at 1 pm and end at 6 pm, but the gates will be open from 10 am.
Mwangi has urged those attending to carry a Kenyan flag, water, and a candle. The dress code of the Naivasha event will be white, red and black.
The same concert will then be hosted in Nakuru on July 28, 2024, at Nyayo Garden in Nakuru City.
The Nakuru concert will kick off from 12 pm until 7 pm, with the gates opening from 9 am.
Mwangi has urged the attendees of the Nakuru concert to carry a smartphone, Kenyan flag, water and candle. They are supposed to maintain the Naivasha dress code.

Boniface Mwangi’s Uhuru Park concert
These are not the first concerts the activist has organized in honour of the Kenyans who lost their lives during the anti-Finance Bill 2024, and subsequent anti-government protests.
On July 7, 2024, Kenya’s Generation Zs (Gen Zs) turned up in large numbers at Uhuru Park to celebrate those who lost their lives during the countrywide anti-government protest.
Carrying the national flag, youths uniquely honoured the slain protesters.
