Two people died on the spot and another one injured after a lorry lost control and rammed into an articulated lorry at Migaa on Nakuru-Eldoret Highway.

According to the driver’s assistant of the ill-fated canter, Osman Kilochi, their vehicle’s brakes failed.

“There were two trailers ahead of us. One was on the side but we just hit the other one which killed my driver and the owner of the cargo,” he said.

Nakuru County fire engine that was dispatched to the accident scene hit one of the lorries that was involved in the deadly crash.

Nominated MCA and accident responder Rachel Maru said that the injured person is out of danger but the bodies of the deceased have been taken to Nakuru County mortuary.
