Socialite Vera Sidika has disclosed that her Instagram inbox is flooded with messages from Generation Zs (Gen Zs) following her recent confession about wanting to date a Gen Z man.
In a statement shared on Instagram on Tuesday, July 10, 2024, she stated that she was shocked by the numerous messages streaming in her inbox from Gen Zs divulging their intention to date her.
The socialite further disclosed that she is confused about whom to pick from the thousands who have inboxed her.
“I’m still shocked my DM is insaaaaaane waaaaah! Surely, how does someone pick 1 with over thousands of Gen Z in DMs? I froze for the last 2 days lol just recovering,” she said.
Vera’s desire
On July 9, 2024, while disclosing her current romantic relationship status, she revealed her desire to date a Gen Z.
In her Insta Stories, the mother of two asked her followers to confirm the rumours she has heard about Gen Z men being romantic.
“Naskia Gen Zs wanajua kuchapa hiyo kitu, is it true? I’m single btw,” she confessed.
Vera divorce party
On June 8, 2024, the reality TV star threw a lavish divorce party to end her relationship with Brown Mauzo nine months prior, after nearly three years of marriage.
In a video, Vera wore a vibrant feathered carnival outfit paired with a sheer black bodysuit and a pink set. She expressed her newfound freedom in the caption, stating, “Ready for my divorce party!!! I feel free like a bird.”
Sharing footage from the night, showing her and her friends celebrating at an exotic nightclub, Vera noted that a divorce party is better than therapy adding that she no longer believes in marriage, calling it a scam.
On August 30, 2023, Mauzo announced his split from Vera asking for space as he went into a new chapter of his life.
